I enjoy working with my clients to create realistic coloured pencil portraits of their much-loved pets.
I use professional lightfast materials to guarantee my artwork is of high quality, and made to last.
The commission process is unique and individual, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
Prices are based on paper size; your portrait will cover an appropriate size within the paper area. A non-refundable deposit is to be paid on booking, the remaining balance will be paid by the client on completion of the commission before sending in the post.
These prices are approximate and can be subject to amendments based on specific requests.
I guarantee that every effort is made to ensure commissions are packaged appropriately for safe delivery which are tracked and signed for with Royal Mail Special Delivery Service (included in overall price unless posting an extra-large portrait)
I am happy to hand deliver to anyone located up to 45 minutes away from the ME7 postcode.
Please be aware that there is approximately a 3 day - 6 week window between the booked start date and posting (providing I have deposit and photo to work from - this is also dependent on how busy I am; larger portraits may take longer).
Your quote is effective for 40 days.

How To Book and The Process
Booking a commission is nice and easy...
1. Contact me - Click here or on the 'More' tab at the top of the screen, and send me a message. I would love to have a friendly chat about what you are looking for!
2. Availability - I will book you in for when I am next available. Please keep in mind that sometimes I am fully booked months in advance (do contact me to check this though). If you are happy with the booked start date, I will send you a copy of my Terms and Conditions which I require you to read and confirm. On booking, a deposit is to be paid to secure your space, this is non-refundable unless in the unfortunate circumstance where I have to cancel the commission.
3. Reference Photo - When creating a portrait, I tend to work from just one photograph (However, please send as many as you can.)
If you are able to take photographs of the subject and are wanting a traditional head and chest portrait, please take them:
~ Outside in natural lighting on an overcast day (to avoid sun glares or shadow casts) or inside in front of a window
~ Up close - Stand about 1m+ away from the animal (further if the animal is large). Have the animal sat down to expose the chest and include as much of the animal and chest as you can. Ideally, remove any harnesses and collars if you do not want them in the portrait
~ At eye level - Get down onto the animal's eye level and experiment with different angles that you may like. Try not to tower over the animal or have them look up at you, it's best to have them looking straight on at the camera
As taking new photos is not always possible, I am more than happy to look at any photographs you have already.
If you do not wish for a traditional head and chest portrait, and instead would prefer a different/unique pose, or a favourite photo you would like me to use, do let me know.
I am able to merge separate images of subjects for multiple subject commissions.
4. The final product -
Once the commission is complete, I will send you a photograph of it.
Only when you are completely happy with the final portrait, will I require the balance to be paid (within 7 days of completion).
5. Posting - Once I have received the final payment, I will package the portrait using materials that will keep it safe during delivery.
